Where was I…

The presentation last week worked better than I expected. I still overestimate the amount of content that can be covered in a given amount of time. The IOP 2008 was a wonderful little conference. It is small, intimate, and the level of scholarship for some of the presentations was stimulating and inspiring. We did manage to shift to the computer lab halfway through the presentation. I was told later that if I had requested it, I could have gotten a laptop cart. So, from now on, I am going to ask for a laptop cart as a matter of course. I learned one thing about my blog structure that needs modification, for shared paper writing. I had opened the blog up so participants could post without putting their email address in. That was great because it simplified and sped up the blogging activity, but, now I can’t respond to the posts made by the anonymous bloggers. I would rather have their contact information. It wouldn’t have been that much more trouble to have them include their email address.
