This blog is about building understanding, learning, and making connections between seemingly disparate elements. It is an experiment in combining hand drawn notes and online typing, as processes of receiving, thinking about, and expressing ideas relating to research and scholarship.

I am frustrated that I cannot have the posts stream in reverse chronological order. I suppose if I get upset enough I will pay for the privilege. In lieu of that, I suggest that you start reading from the oldest to the newest, which, IMHO, would not be reverse chronology, but would in fact be the chronological order of the posts.
